Panic rising in. My handbags/pockets/purse are empty. I've searched everywhere. The front door/back gate/car trunk is securely closed, so they couldn't/mustn't/weren't able to have fallen out there. Could it be I misplaced them at the grocery store/park/coffee shop?

I think I had them just before lunch/dinner/a walk, but that was hours/minutes/an eternity ago. My mind fumbles to retrace my steps. Oh no, what am I going to do?

Confined Within These Walls, My Spirit Crushed!

The car doors slammed shut with a deafening thud. A chilling dread me as the weight of my predicament settled in. Condemned within this metal cage, I felt a surge of helplessness. Outside, the world pulsed with possibility, but here, inside, only stagnation reigned supreme. I struggled to breathe as I realized the full extent of my situation.

Thoughts raced wildly searching for a way out, but there was none. The windows were sealed tight, offering no escape. This tomb had become my curse, and I was utterly at their mercy.

I can't think this is happening! My phone, my laptop, even the darn cabinet where I keep my spare key - everything's locked up tighter than a drum. Should I call the locksmith?
